People can receive help or report a tip of suspected human trafficking by calling the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888 or by sending a text to Polaris at “BeFree” (233733).

Colorado’s Human Trafficking Hotline: CALL 1-866-455-5075 or TEXT 720-999-9724

Colorado’s Human Trafficking Hotline is managed by the Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking. This critical resource developed through the Colorado Network to End Human Trafficking (CoNEHT), a statewide collaborative of organizations formed in 2005 that support the mission to provide a safe and appropriate response to human trafficking in Colorado. Key CoNEHT partners include Colorado Legal Services and Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network.

The Colorado Hotline should serve as an example to the rest of the United States, and the global community.

What we can do

Our proactive measures to combat Human Trafficking rely on spreading awareness and knowledge about human trafficking. We organize talks, seminars, group discussions, film screening, awareness walk/ marathon and events that promote facts and measures. Our reactive support starts immediately on receiving the need for help. The goal of our intervention is to help the victim reach a level of empowerment, control over one’s life and gain happiness. Various socio-emotional issues such as stigma, guilt, safety, distrust, relationships, fear, shame, anger, self-doubt, isolation, loneliness, self-worth may have resulted due to the trauma of exploitation. The victim feels helpless, and may not be able to find meaning in life. These can have long term impact on the life of the person. Through various interventions such as counseling, stress and relaxation activities and individual based solutions are provided to help the victim gain the thinking of survivor.  Just reach to us if you feel that you or someone you know is a victim.
