Deepak Acharya

A Mechanical Engineer from National Institute of Technology, Nagpur and Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee and Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing & Finance from Nirma Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is a fellow of the Indian Institute of Welding (IIW) and presently Vice President of IIW – Western Region. Also life member of Indian Society of Non-Destructive Testing (ISNDT)

He guides strategy and oversees the improvement of key functions like Design & Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Product development, Customer relations and profitability of India Operations. A key member of the Company’s Management Board, he is a man who leads by example. He is credited with INOX’s steady growth in the India and Export market.

He is supporting tribal girls through project called “SPARK” for empowering women and to make them financially independent, promotes gender equality and gender diversity at workplace. He is keen in uplifting women belonging to economically and socially backward community.

He supports the needy children by providing a platform for education and personality development and helping them to stand on their own feet. During this process necessary financial support, counselling, grooming, imparting knowledge on various field and making women employment ready will be the major focus.

Skill Development is the primary need of society in India. To promote this skill development and welding excellence centre will be established to help young boys and girls and get them trained for skill required by industry requirement and support them for employment and make them independent and confident.

Under his guidance many such projects are being implemented to benefit the socially and backward class children. Such initiative are a ray of hope for students and their families.

He believes in dreaming big and aiming high. A dream that can give you an effortless sleep, and an aim that can draw sleepless efforts from you. I urge everyone to have a flexible approach and adapt to innovative solutions. That’s the only way to keep winning people. 

A physically exhausting hobby take you a long way and helps you become more agile. For me, they are swimming and cycling. I take pride in the fact that I do not have many major failure in life. That happens when you make sure that what you do , you do it better than anyone else.

I am extremely thankful to Mr. Harold Dsouza – Executive Director  and Co-founder of Eyes Open International for inviting me as a member of Business Advisory Board to provide guidance on business strategy, help create a long-term development plan for future growth and providing necessary  help to the needy.
